new article

success allows gradual troop cuts. This article is about how on thursday night president bush proposed plans to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq. He also called for an enduring relationship with Iraq that means we will still have troops there past his presidency. Essentially, this declaration is bullshit. We may begin to withdraw troops for a little while, but in the long run many people will still die and we will still continue to be in Iraq unless our new president decides to pull the plug. Bush is essentially lying to us again.

GLOBAL WARMING!!!

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/11/science/earth/11tiern.html?_r=1&8dpc&oref=slogin
This article explains two different viewpoints pertaining the the current global warming crisis. One is that the continual heat wave causes many more deaths per year, but another is that winter actually causes even more deaths. In the end though, it is illustrated that with global warming the good certainly will outweigh the bad.

Written by Duff Wilson, this article is about how senatory larry craig asked the senate ethics comittee to dismiss a complaint that was made regarding a guilty plea he had made in an airport sting operation. My view on this is that even though Larry Craig was later found innocent, the senate would still have to go through a bunch of unnessesary action to do so anyway.
